Founded with the inspiring vision of Shri P. Ramamoorthi, who believed that “education should bring peace and prosperity to a nation,” the school has grown from humble beginnings into a premier institution recognized for academic excellence and character-building.
The institution began its journey in the 1940s by offering education up to the 5th standard in both Tamil and English mediums. In 1992, it was upgraded into a Matriculation School, producing its first 10th standard batch by 1995–96. With continued progress, it evolved into a full-fledged Matriculation Higher Secondary School by 1997–98, and since then, it has consistently produced meritorious students who have excelled in academics, sports, arts, and professional fields.
